This year, our summer trip was to Reddish Vale Farm. We set off from school in the lovely sunshine to walk all the way to Reddish Vale. We saw lots of things on the way such as horses, the motorway, the sixteen arches and even a baby toad! When we arrived, Mrs Smiley’s and Miss Higson’s groups went straight to the farm and were given a guided tour by Lewis and Jen. Mrs Handford’s and Mrs Holmes’ groups went to the duck ponds to feed the ducks and walk around the vale. We had a lovely picnic lunch before swapping over for the afternoon.
We were all very tired when we climbed aboard the coach for the journey back to Greswell but we had had a brilliant day.
Can you tell us which part of the day was your favourite and which animals you were most excited to see?
