This week we have been reading the Traditional Tale, The Gingerbread Man. We designed and decorated our Gingerbread men. We managed to eat them before they ran away! In Nursery this year for Black History Month we celebrated the trumpeter to King Henry VII and King Henry VIII. His name is John Blanke. He played in the royal courts. We made our own trumpets and then went into the hall and listened to trumpet music before dancing, marching and playing our instruments.
