In Nursery this year for Black History Month we celebrated the trumpeter to King Henry VII and King Henry VIII.
His name is John Blanke. He played in the royal courts.
We made our own trumpets and then went into the hall and listened to trumpet music before dancing, marching and playing our instruments.
